Cagliari, Italy based Stoner/Heavy Psych trio Elepharmers premiere the first single “The Underworld” taken from their upcoming album, “Western Wilderness,” scheduled for release on October 24, 2025 via Electric Valley Records.

Elepharmers (Sardinia, Italy) are a Stoner/Heavy-Psych trio. Formed in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy in 2010, the band consists of Guido Solinas aka El Chino on guitar, vocals, bass; Andrea Cadeddu on lead guitar; and Maurizio Mura on drums.
Always placed in the stoner genre, the three formed in the Metal, Thrash, Grunge and Hard Rock of the 70s, 80s and 90s: the trio’s sound is driven by powerful downtuned guitar riffs and drum grooves, Bluesy vocals and a free-sounding lead guitar. Over the years the band has released three albums: “Weird Tales From The Third Planet” (Go Down Records, 2013), “Erebus” (Go Down Records, 2016) and the concept “Lords Of Galaxia” (Electric Valley Records, 2019).
The Elepharmers have toured in Italy, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands; they have played at important international festivals such as Duna Jam, Elav Stoner Open Air, Maximum Festival, Monolithix Fest, Electric Valley Festival and have shared the stage with bands such as Karma To Burn, Orange Goblin, Yawning Man, Red Fang, Mars Red Sky, Toner Low, Monkey 3, Electric Moon, Wedge, Messa, Giöbia and many others. The spring 2020 European tour was postponed and then unfortunately cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Throughout 2020 and 2021 the Elepharmers suspended concert activity but continued to write new stuff, and in 2022 they resumed playing clubs and festivals in conjunction with the pre-production of a new album. “Western Wilderness” is the band’s fourth album and will be released by Electric Valley Records in October 2025. The Elepharmers will tour Europe again in November 2025.
Says the band: “‘The Underworld’ is the first single and opening track of the album, a heavy-rock track that gets straight to the point. The band’s 70s hard rock and proto-metal matrix and bluesy vocals transport us on a dreamlike journey into the belly of the earth.”
