Born from the fusion of Metal’s power and immersive soundscapes, Septaria, a young band from the south of France, plays a captivating mix of post-metal and progressive metal that emotionally captures the duality of the human experience, suffering and happiness, or pain and joy.
Their sound can be described as a mix of Gojira’s massive modern metal and Slowdive’s dreamy post-rock, offering an atmospheric and powerful journey through both aggressive and melodic passages.
Comprised of Hugo Thevenot (guitar/vocals), Hugo Leydet (drums), Baptiste Trébuchon (bass) and Maxime Ayasse (guitar/vocals), Septaria are set to release their debut album “Astar” on November 15, 2024, via Klonosphere/Season of Mist.
The album dives deep into the human soul and the mysteries of the mind, exploring the connection between our inner psyche and the vastness of the universe. With sincere intensity, it confronts fundamental questions about existence, offering a reflection of our condition and the strength needed to face our own reality.
