With “Boom Bang Goodbye,” Sinner opens the final chapter of an extraordinary career — and delivers one last definitive statement. What began in 1982 with Mat Sinner evolved over more than four decades into one of the most enduring and influential forces in the German Hard Rock and Metal scene. Nineteen studio albums, countless tours, and the chart success of Brotherhood (#12 in Germany, 2022) mark a career driven by passion, dedication, and uncompromising energy. On July 31, 2026, “Boom Bang Goodbye” arrives as the band’s grand finale.
Sinner has unveiled the official video for the second single “Leave It All Behind,” available via the YouTube player below:
“That song perfectly sums up the magic of modern hard rock and melodic metal! Blending nostalgic 1980s hooks with an ultra-heavy, contemporary rhythm section creates an incredibly driving and groovy soundscape! Ronnie Romero has an absolute powerhouse voice and always delivers a masterclass in vocal performance, especially when paired with soaring melodies and massive guitar riffs!” – Mat Sinner (bass, vocals)
Across eleven songs packed with melody, heaviness, memories, and emotion, the album captures everything SINNER has always stood for: anthemic choruses, powerful guitars, and pure Rock’n’Roll attitude. Yet the record never feels like a nostalgic retrospective — it sounds like a band going all in one final time. Produced by Mat Sinner himself and refined together with Alex Scholpp, “Boom Bang Goodbye” showcases an impressive musical range, spanning Classic Hard Rock, Melodic Metal, and emotionally charged Arena anthems.
Opening track “Dreams Can Come True” immediately sets the emotional tone of the album: hope, perseverance, and holding onto dreams despite every setback. Songs like “Wait,” “Leave It All Behind,” and “Turn The Page” carry a deeply personal weight, shaped by themes of mortality, farewell, and inner strength. At the same time, tracks such as “Hellbreaker” and “Under The Moonlight” deliver the riff-driven intensity that has defined Sinner for decades. With “All Night Long,” the band takes an emotional trip back to the golden days of Rock’n’Roll, complete with lyrics filled with memories of sweaty clubs, loud nights, and unbreakable friendships. The song feels like one final toast to forty years of music history. “Born To Run” and “Road To Remember” likewise come across as conscious reflections on a life lived between stage lights, loyalty, and constant forward motion.
For this final statement, Mat Sinner once again assembled an impressive lineup of longtime companions and high-profile guests. Alex Scholpp (guitar) and Moritz Müller (drums) provide the album’s powerful foundation, joined by Jim Müller (Kissin’ Dynamite), Lisa Müller, and former Sinner guitarist Mathias Dieth, who was already part of the lineup on the landmark early albums “Comin’ Out Fighting” and “Dangerous Charm.” Another standout contributor is Magnus Karlsson — closely connected to Mat Sinner through Primal Fear — who appears both as guitarist and vocalist.
Vocally, “Boom Bang Goodbye” becomes a true summit meeting of Hard Rock and Metal talent: Ronnie Romero (Rainbow), Michael Bormann, Michael Sadler (SAGA), Björn “Speed” Strid (Soilwork), Erik Mårtensson (Eclipse), Renan Zonta, and Sascha Krebs each leave their own mark on the songs, turning the album into an impressive gathering of international Hard Rock and metal heavyweights.
Mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios in Denmark, the album combines modern power with classic Sinner DNA. Every song bears the unmistakable signature of Mat Sinner as a musician, songwriter, and personality who helped shape the European Metal scene for decades.
“Boom Bang Goodbye” is far more than just another Sinner album. It is an emotional legacy. One final firework of anthems, memories, and passion. Or, as Mat Sinner puts it himself: “The last one turns off the lights.”
