Texas drum‘n’bass duo Sons of Gulliver released their self-titled EP in 2024, and have spent the last two years bringing their beefy, booty-shaking sound out of the studio and onto stages, into the sweaty crowds where it belongs.

After making their stamp on the live scene, the boys are shifting into their next gear, with debut LP “Tetrahedric Hellscape Cannon” locked and loaded for release this year. Leading the charge was last month’s cover of Kiss’s “Love Gun,” and SoG are now proud to present the lead single off the new album, “Dunes.”

Recorded at the legendary Fame Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, the track is an exercise in what Justin Potter and Dolphin Riot do best. Riding a nasty, Desert Rock-infused groove, the riffs are chock-full of crunch and distortion, every drum hit is a punch to the gut, and the growling vocals take it all home.

Accompanying the track is a music video edited by the band’s own Dolphin, a trip through B movie sci fi glory to narrate the Sons’ tale of human misery and desert escape.

2025 saw the SoG play with the likes of Red Beard Wall, Bongzilla, and Kal-El, open Ripplefest, and even take home the Texas Viking Festival’s Battle of the Bands champion’s mead.

Battle-tested and primed to continue the journey to riff Valhalla, the Sons are making their stamp on 2026.
