The original Source Family member Isis Aquarian is coming to California for a very special series of book signings, screenings, lectures, and Q&As. For those who don’t know, Isis Aquarian was the family historian, and one of Father Yod’s wives for the famed commune The Brotherhood of the Source or The Source Family. She has innumerable stories to tell about this ground breaking and infamous collective and she will also have copies of FAMILY: The Source Family Scrapbook for sale to help illustrate how influential and fascinating this group truly was. 3/22 in Santa Barbara UCSB Special Research Collections will host a once in a lifetime opportunity to look through the original Source Family archives with the Family archivist and author Isis Aquarian and special guests Charlie Kitchings and Jodi Wille. This event is in conjunction with the Library’s new exhibition, Lifting the Veil.

3/25 in Malibu at a special private residence, Dry Gulch Ranch. Join us and special guests, original Source Family member Isis Aquarian, and others for a night to remember! Festivities include drinks and snacks curated by The Curated Feast, a Papa & Barkley CBD massage station, special performances by experimental raga collective Liberate Elemental Forces and ethereal harpist Mary Lattimore, and a moderated storytelling panel at a gorgeous property in Malibu, presented in partnership with Atlas Obscura.
