Low Forest is a band based in Kansas City, Missouri, centered around the Heavy works of musician Josh King. The band incorporates aspects of Space Rock, Post-Rock, Metal, Doom and Progressive genres into a recognizable but distinct sound. King’s clean vocals, layered guitars, and mature themes (framed within science fiction metaphors) bridge the styles of Hum, Nothing, Mastodon and Tool to create a massive yet accessible aesthetic that is equal parts Apace and Rock.
