Spanish Fuzz Rockers Greengoat return with “Aloft,” their highly anticipated second studio album, inspired by the groundbreaking studies of Harvard psychiatrist Dr. John Mack on alien abductions. Set for release on April 25, 2025, via Argonauta Records on CD and streaming platforms, “Aloft” takes listeners on a deep sonic journey, blending elements of flamenco, classical music, Progressive Metal and Stoner Doom. The album explores the psychological and emotional impact of abduction experiences, fusing intricate rhythms, orchestral textures and Heavy, hypnotic riffs into an innovative and immersive soundscape.
As a preview of what’s to come, Greengoat has unveiled “Ariel,” the second single from “Aloft.” Recorded and mastered at California Studios (Madrid), Ariel delves into the mind-altering experience of a Psychedelic voyage. Its official video is a tribute to Salvador Dalí and his iconic painting “Rosa Meditativa,” capturing the surreal and introspective essence of both the song and Mack’s explorations of human consciousness. With Aloft, Greengoat delivers a bold and genre-defying album that merges tradition with modernity, technique with emotion. Stay tuned for more details and prepare for an intense, mind-expanding experience.

Greengoat is a Psychedelic Stoner/Doom band from Madrid (Spain), that combines distortion and rhythmic progressions with immersive sequences and oneiric landscapes. Formed in 2021, the band undergoes changes in its ensemble until it consolidates as a duo with guitarist/singer Ivan Flores (Dsgarre, Magnus Ficus) and drummer Ruth “Kalypso” Moya (Suevicha, Dashara, Magnus Ficus).
Their sound moves between Heavy Fuzz and distortion, leaving space for harmonic passages, Experimental sequences, and strong rhythms with varied influences, ranging from bands like Clutch or Black Sabbath to very different ones like Deep Purple or Pink Floyd.
