Toronto, Canada based Psychedelic/Stoner/Doom outfit Star Beast have unveiled the official music video for new “Guppy Of Eternity” taken from their upcoming sophomore album, “Star Beast II,” set to release on February 27, 2026 via Black Throne Productions and Fuzzed And Buzzed Records.

Star Beast gets its name from the fictional luck-dragon “Falkor,” from the 80s classic kids movie, The Neverending Story. Like the luck-dragon, their riffs are both heavily fuzzed out, and bookended in dreamy soundscapes.
Forged in Toronto and driven by pure riff devotion, Star Beast moves at the intersection of Heavy Psychedelia, Stoner Doom, and drifting cosmic haze. What began as an instinctive side project quickly solidified into a fully formed entity, built around massive low-end momentum, saturated fuzz, and a sense of escape for the disenchanted. The album thrives on repetition and weight, letting riffs stretch and breathe while surrounding them with dreamy, almost narcotic atmospheres.
There’s a deliberate contrast at play: towering, distorted guitar lines collide with soft-edged, space-bound passages, creating a sound that feels both crushing and strangely uplifting. Like its myth-inspired namesake, Star Beast balances brute force with a hazy sense of wonder, channeling classic Heavy Psych traditions through a modern, Doom-laden lens. The result is immersive, slow-burning, and unapologetically riff-focused.
