London, UK based Stoner/Prog Rock band Sleeping Mountain is gearing up to release their self-titled debut album on June 14, 2025, with four singles dropping monthly beforehand.

The band comments: “The day has come! Today we are releasing the first single of our upcoming album ‘Sleeping Mountain!’
To bring this album to life, we’ve launched a Kickstarter campaign offering exclusive merch, limited-edition vinyl, CDs, and more. By supporting the campaign, you’ll help us produce exactly what you want, minimising waste and ensuring each item finds a loving home.
The album has been recorded by Aitor and mastered by Karl Daniel Lidén, known for his work with Greenleaf and Dozer.
The whole artwork was made by Diogo Soares and we couldn’t been more happy.

Sleeping Mountain is a Heavy Psych/Desert Rock band from London, drawing inspiration from Black Sabbath and All Them Witches. Their music is a raw, immersive journey blending Doom grooves, Psychedelic textures, and storytelling rooted in Folklore and mysticism.
Formed in late 2019, the band currently consist of Aitor Mendez (guitar, vocals, keyboards), David Saunders (bass) and Alexis Humanes on drums.
Their sound can be described as a blend of Psychedelic Rock blend with a Stoner Blues sensibility. They play with passion, purpose and a raw positive energy using atypical song structures with the ambition of creating transcendent moments to their audience.
Over the past two years, the band have been writing and rehearsing material and are now available to play gigs and festivals in UK and beyond. They are also busy preparing to record their debut album which is set for release on June 14, 2025.
