Bielefeld, Germany based Stoner Rock quartet Stonerhead has announced their second studio album, “Running High,” which will be released on April 27th, 2024. Watch the first teaser video through the YouTube player below:
Founded 2013, Stonerhead is defined by monumental riffs and epic solos, offering a mixture of Stoner Rock, Hard Rock, Blues and Psychedelic Doom. Their songs reflect an honest and authentic sound springing from the united vision of Phil (vocals/guitar), Christian (guitar), Anna (vocals/bass) and Igor (drums).
Through countless gigs both nationally and internationally, and their debut “Fuzztronauten,” 2016, Stonerhead established themselves as a steady force of the underground. Despite some line-up changes the band has maintained their original energy and creativity.
A strong association with a festival in the Eifel lead to a collaboration with booking agency Broken Music, who took on Stonerhead as their first band. In March 2023, the band entered the studio to record their second album, “Running High,” to be released on 27 April 2024.
The addition of Christian as their second guitarist reinforced their sound, and propelled the band to new sonic heights.
Stonerhead offers an acoustic discovery journey, taking their listeners through a kaleido-scope of emotions and soundscapes. Their music offers infinite possibilities and boundless energy of Rock’n’Roll, inviting the audience to explore a cosmos of sound.
