Sunrunner is a Heavy Prog trio formed in 2008 in Portland, Maine, USA. The term refers to the sound of Classic Heavy metal mixed with Progressive Rock elements, different from Progressive Metal.
On March of 2022 they released their fifth album entitled “Sacred Arts Of Navigation,” the band shared the single “Faraway Worlds.” Stream the track through the YouTube player below:
Bringing together 11 brand new tracks, “Sacred Arts Of Navigation” is a “thematic, but not conceptual album”, as Joe explains. “The new album is a continuation of the previous record. A future world of technology mixed with the re-introduction of ancient survival skills. It is a thematic album, not a concept. The songs stand alone, but all fit together.“
