The track is the third single from their highly anticipated sophomore album “Plaguelords,” due in Q4 2025. Produced by the band, mixed and engineered by guitarist/vocalist Victor Takala, and mastered by Björn Iversen, “Dark Hand” stays true to Doomherre’s fiercely DIY ethos.

Drummer Daniel Strachal comments:

“’Dark Hand’ is one of the most personal songs on ‘Plaguelords.’ It reflects the heavier side of the album both musically and emotionally, and we’re proud to present it as the next step leading up to the full release.

The track grows with deliberate, powerful rhythms that rise and fall, blending modern Doom with a timeless, crushing heaviness. Following the praised 2023 debut “Bonegoat,” “Plaguelords” represents a deeper, heavier, and more uncompromising evolution for the band.

Formed in Stockholm, Doomherre’s lineup — Victor Takala (Eyekon, Katatonia session work), Daniel Strachal (Blindfold, Lobotomy, Brainwarp), and Max Collin (Votary, Lobotomy, Scars) — brings decades of underground Metal experience to the table, forging a sound that’s both steeped in tradition and unflinchingly personal.
