German Psychedelic/Heavy Rockers Swell O published the official music video for the single “Summit” taken from new album “Morning Haze” out on February 03, 2023 via Clostridium Records. Watch the video through the YouTube player below:
“Hanseatic Bremen’s „Swell O“ make their full length debut with the release of „Morning Haze“. The recording of the four piece puts the listener in the sphere of musical originals in the spirit of „classical“ psychedelic and stoner rock. The album release will be out on music streaming services and tape on the 3rd of February. There’s also a vinyl release coming up in fall via Clostridium Records.
The German Band is fronted by Sönke and Sebastian each on vocal and guitar. Nevertheless Harald on Fender bass and at the same time on deep bass via organ pedal as well as Simo on drums make up an important part for musical functionality. The rhythm section lays down an efficient groove layered by the guitars, vocals and occasionally topped by Haralds theremine. Sönke and Sebastian have a different approach to their songwriting which makes the songs diverse, but also they come around with collaborated material like „Summit“ a pace changing song about life.
Throughout the album Swell O sticks to their musical recipe from fuzzy up to airy sounds and from driven to mellow rhythms but always to get in gear to push some more. This ability can also be captured live for example on February 25th on board of the „MS Loretta“. Together with their befriended band colleagues of „Betastone“ and „Mos Eisley Spaceport“ will they celebrate the release of „Morning Haze“. While the MS Loretta is a ship and event location upon the river „Weser“ which gives a typical touch to the bands origin. Ahoy and get on board!“
