“ELIS” delves into the ancient Greek myth of Heracles, specifically his fifth labor, capturing the intense pursuit of justice following the cleansing of King Augeas‘ stables. The track uniquely offers dual perspectives by including both Heracles and Phyleus, the king’s son, creating a powerful blend of myth and music.

Musically, the song draws inspiration from influential bands like Circa SurviveThe Ocean and Agent Fresco, combining their emotive, expansive sound with the intensity of an ancient legend. The track’s extended length, varied passages, and distinctive rhythmic signatures ensure a captivating listening experience that takes the audience on a journey through sound and story.

NevBorn’s journey in the Progressive Metal scene began with the release of their debut album, “Five Horizons,” in 2015, which was met with critical acclaim. In 2017, they ventured into new territory with the one-song EP “Daídalos,” a 20-minute epic featuring Loïc Rossetti of The Ocean, further solidifying their reputation for crafting intricate, narrative-driven compositions.
