Swiss Psych/Kraut Rockers Harvey Rushmore & The Octopus unveil dark new single “Mindsucker,” title-track from their upcoming album, set for release on March 13, 2026 via Taxi Gauche Records.

Shot like a grainy black-and-white horror film, the video blends eerie forest imagery, tape-hiss Drones, and a hypnotic drum-machine groove into a shadowy Psych-Kraut experience. The story follows a haunted driver pursued by a mysterious bat-like creature — the mindsucker — through an abandoned landscape that feels suspended between cinema and dream.
After three albums and years of touring across Europe, the Basel-based quartet returns with a new sonic direction. While their 2022 record “Freedomspacecake” leaned toward sunny Surf-Psych textures, the upcoming album “Mindsuckers” dives into darker, more ominous territory without losing the band’s signature Kraut-infused Psychedelic sound.
“Mindsuckers” will be released March 13, 2026 via Taxi Gauche Records.
