Australian Progressive Metal/Rock band Teramaze‘s Dean Wells plays the guitar solo from “I Wonder” taken from new album “Dalla Volta” out on April 27, 2023 via Wells Music. Watch the video through the YouTube player below:
From 2019 to 2023, the band have released 6 full length albums and show no signs of slowing down. The band’s creativity and approach to Progressive Rock and Metal makes them one of the most prolific and diverse bands in the Prog scene today.
Teramaze’s last pre-pandemic international show was at the Prog Power Europe Festival in 2019. They were honored to headline the festival, alongside some amazing bands from around the world, and were incredibly well received by the European audiences.
Guitarist and Vocalist Dean Wells goes on to say: “We love Europe and we love our passionate European fans. We’d love to return and play there very soon!”
2021 saw the band release the album “Sorella Minore,” which was dubbed by many fans “A concept album rock opera.” The title track was an epic 25 minutes in length and showing the bands signature elements of arrangement, technicality and melodic sensibility.
After multiple collaborations on various songs and the Phil Collins & Phillip Bailey cover “Easy Lover,” in late 2022 Teramaze asked former “Her Halo” album vocalist Nathan Peachey to re-join the band full time.
Guitarist Chris Zoupa commented:
“Having two lead singers allows us to share the load of vocals, so that Dean can work a bit more of his magic on the guitar. It’s also worth mentioning Nathan’s voice is INCREDIBLE, and the interplay between him and Dean, whether it be trading off or harmonizing is something really special. I’m very excited to see where our songwriting goes from here and I’m sure the fans will be too.”
Teramaze, will release their new album, “Dalla Volta,” early summer ’23 via Wells Music/Screaming Crow Records in North America. The album features not only new songs, but also reimagined versions of some of their classics. “Dalla Volta” blend together old and new sounds to create something truly unique. You’ll be transported to another dimension with their mind-bending riffs and complex time signatures.
