You can watch the video below and read the announcement made by the band’s bassist on Facebook:

The bass player Amos Williams presents the video on the band’s facebook page: “As long term fans will know, we have performed a ‘Live In The Studio’ recording for each album. Given the ongoing conditions, and our relative distances from each other, it just seemed like there was no way to make this happen for our latest album. This was somewhat distressing. The answer lay in the same mother of invention that drives most of TesseracT’s output; instead of not being able to achieve a goal because of limitations out of our control, let’s embrace those limitations as the genus for the achievement of our goals. And thus ‘Live In The Lockdown’ was born. Doing all we could with all we had, and creating something we can look back on with fond memories. It was a great project to work on whilst the world was crumbling around us, and uncertainty and fear was the biggest story each day. We are extremely happy with how it has been a source of entertainment and distraction for our fans across the world as the situation unfolds throughout 2020. I personally would love to do more, perhaps longer, and with a much higher production value. But, I feel the ‘Sonder – Live In The Lockdown’ video is the perfect snapshot of those early days of lockdown.
