Tetracluster, Progressive Metal band from southern Italy, debut on all digital platforms with their epic, 7 minute long debut single, “Orange Killer.”
The song, which navigates between heavy riffs in odd time signatures and intricate solos: “drives inspiration from the usage of toxins such as Agent Orange during the Vietnam War to unleash a harsh accusation against imperialism and war brutalities, which target and murder innocent people while the rich collect the profits”, the band says. A current theme and a never-ending tragedy, as the ongoing conflicts in Palestine and Ucraine show.
In the bone-crushing yet complex and technical sound of the song the influences of the band become evident, ranging from contemporary Prog Metal (Dream Theater, Haken) to their own country’s Progressive Rock classics.

Tetracluster Biography;
Tetracluster are a Progressive Metal band from Calabria, formed between 2020 and 2021, in the midst of the now well-known pandemic situation, by Giovanni Andrea Dieni (formerly guitarist of IX- The Hermit), in the role of guitarist and singer.
The name of the band refers, on the one hand, to the fascination of the tetrahedron, the simplest of polyhedra formed by 4 triangles; on the other hand, to the cluster, intended as a grouping of a few atoms. It is a visual representation of the band’s complex, articulate progressive music.
In February 2021, drummer Alessandro D’Amico, winner of the last edition of “Tour Music Fest,” joined the lineup, with whom the first riffs and musical ideas took shape.
In July of the same year, Mattia Cubello (bassist of DeaMantide since 2018) joined, followed by Domenico Corapi on keyboards and synth a few months later.
Thematically, the band addresses various social and environmental issues caused by the late-capitalist society in which we live, with sounds that aim to fuse “Classic” Progressive Rock with the more modern facets of the Prog Metal genre.
Tetracluster made their live debut in 2022 at the “Marley Session Open Mic” held at the Hub in Cosenza in partnership with Calabria Sona, performed at the prestigious South Bike Show in Sibari alongside El Rojo, a know Stoner Rock band, and after several other gigs, opened at Morano in Rock, an important showcase of local emerging music, with the bands Deep Valley Blues and La Faida. At the end of 2022 they shared the stage with Strike Avenue, a well known local Death Metal band active in the Calabrian Metal scene for 15 years, at the University of Calabria (Unical). On February 26, 2023, the group took to the stage at MOOD Social Club, the main live club in Cosenza, Calabria.
The band released its debut single “Orange Killer” on July 19, 2024, available on all digital streaming platforms.
