UK Electronic Ambient/Post-Rock project Thought Bubble published the official teaser for their upcoming new album “Mostly True,” set for release June 25, 2025. Stream the teaser through the YouTube player below:
Thought Bubble are an Alt Electronic group, based in the remote Shropshire hills of the UK. At the start of 2024, synths player Chris Cordwell and percussionist Nick Raybould were joined by songwriter and vocalist Peter Gelf. The newly expanded line-up immediately released the critically acclaimed “Universe Zero.” Building on the eclectic energy of that sixth album, Thought Bubble are now releasing “Mostly True.”
Showcasing the trio’s distinctive combination of layered synths, live percussion and left field vocals, “Mostly True” explores wide ranging themes, including Drone warfare (“Three Apples“), chaos and order (the percussion-driven “Rattlepool“) and madness (“It’s Best Not To Look At The Sun“). Several also have videos online. “Mostly True” will be available on vinyl, CD, cassette and digitally through the ever cool Moolakii Club Audio Interface from June 25th, 2025.
“…rising to the top on a reputation as one of the most exciting acts around, melding electronics and live instrumentation. It’s out-there and unbelievably alluring.” – Electronic Sound
