Swedish Psychedelic Rock band Urtidsdjur is set to release their second album, “Fågelsånger.” Following their debut album from 2020, this new release blends elements of Swedish Prog, Garage Rock, Folk and Psychedelic Rock into a cohesive musical journey from start to finish.
“Hel Igen” is the first single from Urtidsdjur’s upcoming album “Fågelsånger,” set for release on February 28, 2025. The song blends melancholic melodies, hypnotic rhythms, and atmospheric layers, capturing the band’s signature mix of Swedish Prog, Folk and Psychedelic Rock.

Recorded between 2023 and 2024 in the band’s rehearsal space and a studio in Gottsunda, “Hel Igen” reflects Urtidsdjur’s organic and immersive sound. The track marks the first of eight leading up to the new album.
Album Release and Vinyl Edition “Fågelsånger” will be available digitally later this year. However, the vinyl edition will be released earlier in a limited run of 100 copies. The cover artwork includes graphics by Robin Orb and each features a unique hand-marbled design. The vinyl comes in two versions: 40 copies in red marble-colored vinyl and 60 in classic black, all pressed on 180-gram heavyweight LPs.
