US/Canadian Heavy Doom power trio Castle have unveiled official video for the haunted rocker “3 Knocks” taken from the upcoming album, “Carrie Chains.” “3 Knocks” is the fourth and final single in advance of the full album release on September 4th via Hammerheart Records worldwide.

Filmed in Toronto while on tour in Canada earlier this year, “3 Knocks” sees Castle team up with their long time friend/director, Jaan Silmberg — whose credits include work on Super Duper Alice Cooper, Death By Metal, and the upcoming Voivod Doc — and also filmed Castle’s most recent video for the quasi-title track “Carry Chains.”
Guitarist Mat Davis states;
“3 Knocks is a classic throwback Castle song; a combination of majestic riffs and a driving haunted vocal from Liz. We were inspired by equal parts Sabbath and Mercyful Fate and came up with this crunchy rocker… it’s like the doomed heartbeat of the new record – it screams to be cranked, so what are you waiting for?!“
“Carrie Chains” shows Castle at new heights of constructing their trademark serpentine riffs into powerful anthemic hooks while the whiskey throated vocals of powerhouse singer Liz Blackwell fill every spooky nook and cranny to intoxicating effect. Taking influence from the 70s/80s riff-Heavy maestros like Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, and Mercyful Fate and keeping a stripped down attack sound, Castle channel that classic Heavy Metal DNA into something leaner, meaner, and unmistakably their own.
