Richmond, Virginia based Doom/Sludge Metal band Anastasia is gearing up to release their debut album “Witnessed Tragedies” on August 26, 2026.

Started by Nolan Volosevich, Anastasia is a Doom/Sludge group from the Richmond Virginia area. Named after the lost Romanov daughter, the band originally started as a Flamenco project, but has since been rebranded. Anastasia consists of Nolan Volosevich (guitar, vocals), Allen Macuno (keys), David Landsness (bass, backing vocals) and Travis Hopkins (drums).
