Symphonic Progressive metal collective Valcata have released “Metallic Us,” the second digital single from their forthcoming as-yet-untitled EP. Led by composer and producer Oha Cade, Valcata is a globally collaborative studio project uniting vocalists and musicians from across the international Metal scene.
The track marks a sharp tonal turn from “Overload the Reactor,” doubling down on tension and forward momentum. Mechanical grooves and dense orchestration create a sense of pressure that never fully releases. Vocalists David Michael Moote and Sharon Portilla push their performances into extreme emotional territory as the walls steadily close in.
“Metallic Us” is available now on all streaming platforms and Bandcamp, accompanied by a lyric video on YouTube created by Oha Cade, watch it via the player below:
The band states: “Metallic Us” is the second single from our upcoming as-yet-untitled EP. Featuring the same international lineup introduced on Overload the Reactor, the track pushes further into darker, more dystopian territory.“
