Chilean Progressive Rock and Fusion outfit Chercán have released “Sueño Diferido,” the second single from their upcoming second studio album, scheduled for release on October 23, 2026. The track follows their previous single “Pareidolia,” which was recently featured in “PRJ Compilation Vol. XXIX – Wanderlust Symphonies.”

Formed in Valdivia in 2019, Chercán released their self-titled debut LP in March 2025. The five-piece blends Progressive Rock, Fusion, and Avant-Garde arrangements with lyrics centering on personal reflection, human environment, and contemporary society.
The recording of “Sueño diferido” took place across multiple studios in southern Chile. Core tracking for drums, electric guitars, bass, saxophone, and vocals was captured by Máximo Torres at Estudio Monteranco in Futrono. Additional percussion and synthesizer tracks were recorded by Rodrigo González Mera at Estudio “El Pequén” in Valdivia. Mixing was handled by Jorge Fortune at Telúrica Estudio in Coyhaique, and mastering was completed by Carlos Barros at Isla Negra Producciones in Santiago. The cover artwork was created by Carlos Alvear.
