“Dawn of the Machine” returns to the beginning — the early days of artificial intelligence, before the questions turned to fear. The track starts the way the moment feels: frantic, accelerating, impossible to slow down. Beneath the chaos, something else takes hold — a Heavy, relentless pulse, the gravity of a future already in motion. We are being offered everything we ever wanted. But what is the price we have to pay?
Built on intense guitar work and dense, cinematic arrangements, the track captures a world standing at the dawn of a technology it doesn’t yet understand — and can’t look away from.
The single is part of the narrative arc of “Dreaming In Binary,” a ten-track concept album tracing humanity’s journey through the rise of artificial intelligence — from these first uneasy beginnings to AI’s awakening and beyond. Fusing symphonic, progressive, and power metal into immersive soundscapes, Visions of Morpheus explore dreams, technology, and what it means to be human in an increasingly digital age.
Inspired by Morpheus, the Greek god of dreams, the Oshawa, Ontario band (near Toronto) crafts music that moves through realms of wonder, terror, and the fantastical — blurring the line between day and dream.
