Nati Liberi
La storia del Banco del Mutuo Soccorso raccontata da Vittorio Nocenzi

The story of Banco del Mutuo Soccorso – one of the most influential and innovative bands of the Italian rock scene – arrives for the first time in book form told by the voice of the founder Vittorio Nocenzi, considered one of the most important keyboardists and composers of all time. A precious testimony collected by the music critic Francesco Villari, who traces the path of the group starting from the genesis of progressive rock up to the present day.

The evolution of fifty years of career that place Banco del Mutuo Soccorso among the longest-running Italian rock groups still in business and quantify its artistic figure through nineteen studio albums, some of which are considered real milestones in the history of music, five live records, twelve anthological collections and over five thousand concerts all over the world.

Always one step ahead, always out of the fashions of the moment, the band has never conceded anything to clichés, constantly looking for new musical trajectories, without ever recycling and without being corrupted by the allurements of a success witnessed by thousands and thousands of admirers.

Nati Liberi is a surprising adventure that starts from historical anecdotes and continues with the musical study, the analysis of the albums and their morphology, ranging within the extraordinary compositional heterogeneity that has made the Banco a unique chapter among the pages of the great rock novel.

An essential book for those who appreciate Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, indispensable for those who have never had the opportunity to know it, precious for anyone who loves music.
