Japanese record label Vivid Sound Corporation has officially issued three key catalog titles from veteran Italian Symphonic Progressive Rock ensemble Il Castello di Atlante in deluxe Japanese CD editions. Released on September 23, 2026, and recently featured in Issue 110 of Japan’s premier Progressive music publication Euro-Rock Press, this three-album series marks the long-awaited first official Japanese pressing for each featured work.
Formed in 1974, Il Castello di Atlante has spent over five decades refining a distinctively lyrical symphonic rock sound defined by intricate ensemble playing, sweeping keyboards, and prominent Melodic violin arrangements. Having previously toured in Japan, the group’s sound has undergone a refined sonic modernization in recent years following the addition of young drummer and audio engineer Mattia Garimanno, whose production work has brought a polished, contemporary clarity to the band’s traditional Rock foundations.
