
The famous German Wacken Open Air festival, which will not take place this year due to the coronavirus emergency, has announced a major streaming event called Wacken World Wide.
The event will take place on the dates on which the festival should have been held, from 29 July to 1 August, and will be free of charge.

Through the use of mixed reality technologies, the event will offer a new type of musical experience to fans.
At the moment exclusive performances of Beyond The Black, Blind Guardian, Hämatom, Haven Shall Burn, In Extremo, Kreator and Sabaton have been announced.
