Hungarian Stoner/Doom Metal veterans Wall Of Sleep published the official video for the single “Maelstrom” taken from their new full-length album “The Kingdom” on May 9th, 2025 via H-Music. Watch the video through the YouTube player below:

Wall Of Sleep is one of the most recognized bands of the Hungarian underground Metal scene. With influences from Doom Metal, Hard Rock and other genres, the band formed in 2001. Built on the remains of Mood, their sound is based on twin guitar harmonies and classic Heavy Rock elements, which are rooted on the sounds of 70’s and 80’s. They released their epic album “Sun Faced Apostles” in 2006, with the guest appearance of Doom icon Scott “Wino” Weinrich (Saint Vitus, The Obsessed, The Hidden Hand etc.).
The year after the album called “…And Hell Followed With Him” was released by the Swedish I Hate Records, so their reputation further increased. Through some West-European tours and festivals they shared the stage with some great bands like Crowbar, Trouble, Mastodon, High On Fire and Darkest Hour. Lead vocalist Zoltán “BZ” Bátky joined the band with his Progressive, Hard Rock and even Symphonic background to form the band’s latest version that they simply call Wall Of Sleep MK.III.
