Finnish Progressive Metal powerhouse Warmen unveil the official lyric video for the title-track from upcoming album “Here For None” set to release on August 18, 2023 via Reaper Entertainment. Watch the video through the YouTube player below:
Warmen was something like a solo project with band character of the former Children Of Bodom keyboardist Janne “Warman” Wirman for many years. Warmen‘s musical reorientation in 2023 provides a maximum of variety – and unexpected harshness. While Warmen used to have guest singers, the new band claim and the new musical direction should also be made clear vocally. The new man at the mic, who fits like a glove, is none other than Petri Lindroos from Ensiferum!
“Here for none” heralds a new era – according to the motto “The king is dead, long live the king” Warmen are not only musically setting out for new, heavier shores – due to the new line-up, it is fair to say that Warmen are now spectacularly taking on the musical legacy of Janne‘s former band. “I will always be Janne from Bodom. That’s okay for me, I’m happy about it and I don’t have to hide my past. I also see it as a positive thing for WARMEN,” Janne knows about his good reputation and the attention allotted to him in the scene. The band will also present this legacy live at selected events, such as the release show at Summer Breeze Open Air. Until then, the brutally varied, yet extremely coherent “Here for none” is the new reference work in terms of melodic hardness from Finland!
