Wilson Project is an Italian Progressive Rock band that combines 70s atmosphere with a modern and personal sound. Born from the meeting of four musicians united by the passion for Italian and international Prog, have developed a style that combines tradition and innovation.
“Atto Primo” was born from the desire to pay homage to opera and to bring it to the center of musical narration, considering it a living element. Each piece is inspired by a famous opera and composer, not only as a dedication, but to return the original theatricality in a new guise. The sonorities and expressive freedoms of Progressive Rock are intertwined with the dramatic atmospheres and emotional tensions of musical theatre, building a sound world in which words and music move in symbiosis.
