Changing a front singer is never easy, but Woodstock Barbie managed to come back even stronger, starting with a “Clean Sheet,” their brand new single and official video which was just released yesterday. Watch the video through the YouTube player below:

Restart with a “Clean Sheet” – here’s the new Woodstock Barbie single and video!
Restarting anything can be challenging, until we actually start doing so. Woodstock Barbie returned even stronger, and now here’s their new song “Clean Sheet” with a cinematic, unique video.
Woodstock Barbie took part of their previous singer last Summer, but shortly they found their new heroine Dóra Ördög, who brought a strong impulse to the whole band. They proved this well at their returning show back in December, where they got amazing feedback from all sides.
For the new track “Clean Sheet“, released February 27t, they asked director-cinematographer Balázs Lippai, whom they wanted to work with for a while now. The basic idea and the story was his idea, which well resonates to the band’s changed situation, and also to the lyrics of the song.
“It was a challenge to write the lyrics, as this was my first one, however, I had many ideas. We are all pretty happy about the outcome.” – said Dóra.
“Changing the front singer is never easy, and as I usually work with narrative pictures, this gave me a solid base to build the story on. It’s all about Dóri, her character and style. She’s amazing.” – said Balázs Lippai.
They are working on new songs for the upcoming EP, and looking forward to Springtime, when they hit the road again, they’ll play not only in Hungary but in the neighboring countries too; even do a warmup show to the coolest Fuzz-Stoner-Psych fest, Bear Stone Festival in Zagreb amongst Mother’s Cake.
