“In this song we tried to capture the flood of different emotions Wyoming has while being rescued by the crew of the Grey Blade. At first he’s lost at sea floating alone and certain he is doomed. After days without food and water he is discovered by a dark steel submersible. He believes he’s met his end but the crew lifts him from the water. They bring him to their home where he happens upon an old enemy who tells him the other side of the story of how his home was destroyed his family taken from him. This is a key point in Wyoming’s story as he starts to understand where he fits into a much larger picture and begins to align himself with the people who will guide him on the next stage of his adventure.” – Wyoming Young and Strong
After floating at sea for days on the wreckage Wyoming is captured by the Grey Blade. The Grey Blade delivers him to an old enemy of human kind that can best be described as a nomniscient celestial. This being is all powerful, but yet still derives pleasure from tormenting humans.
Wyoming Young and Strong has been singing Folk songs dedicated to this epic hero since their inception. Josh, Jason and Josh have arranged these songs in the tradition of Bass, Drums, Guitar, and Vocals. Just like the Triad of the Vision before them, they wind the tales of Wyoming through the lens of Stoner and Noise Rock. Taking inspiration from the Melvins, Shellac and Sleep.
