[News] Zero Massive published the official visualizer for the track “Peaceful Trap” taken from self-titled album

Portuguese Instrumental Progressive Metal project Zero Massive published the official visualizer for the track “Peaceful Trap” taken from self-titled album out on May 24, 2024. Watch the video through the YouTube player below:

Zero Massive was born in 2023 from the mind of Portuguese composer and filmmaker Pedro Porto Fonseca, but its roots stretch back to 2009 when Fonseca began recording ideas and envisioning the formation of a powerful Metal trio. With the contributions of Mike Ghost (Producer) and João Colaço (Drummer), along with Pedro Simão (Bassist), the dream finally took shape.

The relationship between any Portuguese person and the sea is inherent and unavoidable.” Some may overlook that connection, but others embrace it fully, creating what should have always existed. Zero Massive embodies this relationship—combining intricate heaviness with distant, atmospheric expanses.

The band’s name reflects its identity: equal parts vast and weighty, like the deep, unreachable floors of the ocean contrasted against the water above in the open skies. This concept of contrast is the foundation of Zero Massive’s sound—one that is both balanced and polarised.

Through drawn-out intros and mellow segments, the music builds like ancient sediments, forming a towering sonic mountain. At its peak, Zero Massive’s signature contrast becomes clear. This leviathan is carried by the shoulders of a power trio: soaring lead guitars, driving basslines, and crushing percussion.
