SVIN is a Danish project by Avant-Garde Rock active since 2011, composed of musicians who come from other musical experiences. The band’s seventh album “Introducing SVIN” was released on July 15, 2022 via Tonzonen Records and contains 9 tracks ranging from 2 to over 9 minutes in length. The main feature of the band is the research and exploration of ever new sounds, mixing different genres and styles with their playing and sound manipulation skills. In this new chapter they continue their search for new sounds, proposing 9 tracks that combine Avant-garde, Cinematic and at times Noise Rock. A refined album, where the artists involved are free to express and enhance their technique, both for the 3 members and for the guests, proving to be an added value. Surely they cannot be defined commercial, but over the years thanks to the exploration of different genres and styles, they have managed to capture the attention of a very varied audience and not only avant-garde lovers. Skilled at every record release to propose something innovative and explore ever new sounds. Albums like this one manage to be appreciated by lovers of Psychedelia, Free Jazz as well as Avant-Garde and Experimental, offering elaborate solutions and plots. A disc that at first listen may be a bit difficult, but that in subsequent listenings will reveal all the nuances contained within it. A listening recommended to all lovers of avant-garde sounds, modern and original this work shows how the band is skilled in exploring different genres and styles and mixing them with their own personal touch.
