The end of our days already has a date and time. It will take place on Friday 3 November at 00h, when the Argentinian band Fin del Mundo will release their first full-length album “Todo Va Hacia El Mar,” from which they present today the double single “El incendio” / “Desvelo.” They will then cross the pond to Europe to present it live on a tour that will take them to Italy, Switzerland, France, Gibraltar and Spain.

Backed by a live session for Seattle’s legendary KEXP (which has already accumulated more than 1.1 million plays in less than a year), the band formed in 2019 in Buenos Aires (Argentina) announced a few months ago their signing with the independent label Spinda Records with a view to the release on 3 November of “Todo Va Hacia El Mar,” a first full-length that brings together their two previous EPs, the eponymous one from 2020 and “La ciudad que dejamos” from 2022, for the first time in physical format. And how could it be otherwise, the album comes with a much-acclaimed first European tour under the arm, thanks to which they will visit France, Italy, Switzerland, Gibraltar and Spain, with stops in Madrid, Malaga, Oviedo, Barcelona and Seville, the latter city where they will have a double date within the Monkey Week programme, where they share the bill with Camellos, Juárez, Los Planetas, Maquina, Maragda, The Silver Linings, Travo or Za! & La Transmegacobla.

Since the beginning of the summer, the Fin del Mundo have been showing us what the end of our days will be like with singles that have earned them the reputation of being considered one of the great revelations of Latin America. First came “El próximo verano,” and then “La noche” / “El fin del mundo.” Today, 13 October, just three weeks before the release of “Todo Va Hacia El Mar,” they present the double single “El incendio” / “Desvelo,” both songs from their EP ‘La ciudad que dejamos’ from 2022.

Todo Va Hacia El Mar” will be available in digital and all kinds of physical formats: from cassette (yes, they’re back) and compact disc to a neat triple vinyl edition, which is part of Spinda Records‘ “The Noisy Series” and is limited to 500 copies in black, 300 in transparent and 200 in magenta – all hand-numbered. For the artwork, illustrator Óscar Málaga opted for a combination of the covers of their two previous EPs.
