Italian Electronic Progressive Rock project habelard2, lead by composer and multi-intrumentalist Sergio Caleca, has unveiled the official teaser for his new album “Crossfade,” released on February 05, 2026.

This is the habelard2 album number 14.
It was recorded between April and December 2025 in Milan, Italy.
All the songs were composed, arranged, performed and mixed by Sergio Caleca (habelard2), as were the photos, graphics and layout. The title refers to an old photo taken in Hyde Park (London) in April 1982. The fade-in effect is unintentional but results from a film jam. The back photo, however, was edited specifically for the occasion, blending two shots.

Composer from 1977, he plays keyboards, guitars and electric bass. After short experiences with various Progressive Rock groups, he started a solo research activity, moving on Electronic, New Age, Rock, Folk & other contaminations.
He was the keyboardist with Ad Maiora, a Prog band in Milan, until 2018.
