Thirteen years after his last solo record “Lost in the New Real,” Dutch multi-instrumentalist and mastermind behind Ayreon, Arjen Lucassen, returns with a brand-new solo album titled “Songs No One Will Hear.” The record is set for release on September 12, 2025 via InsideOut Music.
The album is introduced through a cinematic album trailer, now available on YouTube:
Trailer made by Élan López and Arjen Lucassen.
True to Lucassen’s unmistakable style, “Songs No One Will Hear” offers an eclectic blend of tracks, moving seamlessly from powerful, epic songs to lighter, more playful ones.
At its core, “Songs No One Will Hear” is bound by a profound concept: what would people do if they only had five months left to live because of an asteroid impact? Expect an emotional rollercoaster, delving into both the light and dark aspects of human nature.
Pre-Orders open on June 13 via the Official Ayreon Webshop, coinciding with the Ayreon 30th Anniversary celebrations.
