Austin-based purveyors of Dark, Atmospheric Psych-Americana Lord Buffalo will embark on a handful of U.S. live dates in support of latest album “Holus Bolus” before setting out on their first-ever European tour this May alongside Scandinavian Post-Rock outfit Orsak:Oslo.
The trip will include slots at Sonic Whip Fest (Netherlands) and Sonic Rites Fest (Finland) and tour stops in the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway, and Finland, marking a new chapter as the band brings their immersive, cinematic sound to European audiences.
With the release of their new album “Holus Bolus” on Blues Funeral Recordings, Lord Buffalo continue to defy genre boundaries. Their music – described as Heavy in the way that ghosts are Heavy, or in the way that billowing dust is Heavy – offers an evocative blend of Droning violin, layered guitars, and rhythmic intensity. Drawing from influences as varied as Morricone, Badalamenti, Sabbath and Swans, the band crafts a sound that feels new yet ageless. This tour promises to showcase Lord Buffalo’s live energy, immersing audiences in a soundscape that bridges the mystical and the visceral.
