Black Wind drop their self-titled debut — six tracks of Heavy Psych from Lynchburg, Virginia that move between crushing Doom riffs and sprawling, hypnotic grooves. The trio (Ben Gold on guitar, Orie Franklin on bass, Nathan Shifflett on drums) recorded with Anthony Beheler at Noteworthy Music Co, and the result is a record that takes its time: cuts like “Blood Orange Tsunami” and “Serpent Magic” push past the eight-minute mark without ever losing the thread. Out since October 10, 2025 available on CD and digital via Bandcamp.
