Austin, Texas based Heavy Psych/Sci-Fi Doom project Bredda published the track “Raik” taken from their debut album “The Bredda Project,” which was just released on April 20th, 2023. Stream the track through the YouTube player below:
“The Bredda Project,” a story of inescapable fate and three distinct shades of human coping. The Indignant. The Indigenous. The Ingenious.
Bredda means “to broaden” in Swedish. The concept applies to a portion of humanity that decide to flee Earth into the unknown multiverse once unabated climate change fomented a slow, churning phase-change that undermined humankind’s survival.
Over the course of the debut album, the tale of the Indignant, the Indigenous, and the Ingenious will be told. Immerse yourselves in the heavy psych sci-fi doom world of Bredda.

Thumpin’ bass lines were provided by David Beck, who was a cheerful professional and easy collaborator. I learned some great tips from him about setting up session musicians for success.
