York-based instrumental duo Chonky Dogg are set to make their full-length debut with “The World Is Quiet Here,” a five-track EP due out on March 27, 2026. Rooted in the restless intersection of Prog Rock and Math Rock, the record promises a journey through layered soundscapes, rhythmically complex grooves, and technically adventurous guitar work — all without a single word spoken.
To herald the release, the band has unveiled “Panini’s Bridge (Radio Edit)” as the lead single, now streaming on Spotify. The track offers a first proper taste of what Chonky Dogg are building: a sound that feels simultaneously introspective and kinetic, intimate and expansive. A second preview is already available via Bandcamp — “KITSCH,” the EP’s fourth track — giving listeners an early glimpse into the record’s broader sonic palette.

“The World Is Quiet Here” runs through five instrumental chapters: “Landslide,” “Panini’s Bridge,” “Barbenheimer,” “KITSCH,” and the title-track. Together they form a cohesive statement from a band clearly thinking in terms of atmosphere and architecture rather than conventional song structure — a debut that lands with the confidence of a much longer discography.
Keep an eye on PRJ for a full review of the EP ahead of release.
