Claudio Rodriguez new single: “On June 17th 2020 I first came across Sara, the woman I ended up sharing a very special kind of love with at the beginning of 2024. Our time together was beautiful, unforgettableā¦ but very short. Sadly, she succumbed to cancer on May 10th this year. She’d already had cancer in 2021 and was treated for it, which allowed her to live for more than two years from the day of the diagnosis and surgery on. It’s sad, infuriating and painful that it came back and finally took her.
Ale Sganga, the violinist we both had in common somehow -he’s the one who plays in the acoustic version of my song “Clovers in The Field”-, recorded a few violin moments for “Spirit Wanderers,” what is now the Claudio & Sara song (Nicolas Jourdain, my bandmate in LIGHT, did me the huge favour of laying down the drums). The track is a part of the world now. Enjoy!“
