Venezuela-Canadian Progressive Rock/Metal artist Francisco Meza published the official visualizer for the track “The Duel” taken from his upcoming solo album “Textures” due out on August 15, 2024. Watch teh video through the YouTube player below:
The artist states: “This is the first track of my new album to be released Aug 15th at www.franciscomeza.bandcamp.com and everywhere else you can stream and buy music a day or two thereafter.
‘Textures’ is purposefully an album where I try to include acoustic and electric sounds into every song (except one). I experimented with ambient reverb sounds and effects in a way that was new and fun for me to do, hopefully you like it too.
Track notes: During the pandemic I improvised on a 12 string guitar and the main themes of this song came and uploaded a video on Instagram. I resurfaced that video for this album but they now sound like 2 different songs, but this track came from that initial idea. The slide guitar and single drum kick pattern at the beginning remind me of Bon Jovi’s ‘Blaze of Glory.‘”
