About this collection:
Following on from our self-titled debut album released in 2019, we took the time to do things big for the production of this new album.
Produced by Chris Edrich and Pierrick Noel (Leprous, Klone, Kadinja, Devin Townsend, …), the album’s production highlights a refined composition where nuances have pride of place.
As with our first album, we once again called on Olya Creative Studio to produce the artwork for this opus.
“Ubuntu” comprises 10 original tracks totalling around 60 minutes in length, and is due for release in October 2024.
You can now discover the opening track of this new album: “Endless Fugue.”
Constructed etymologically like the word ‘humanity’ in French, “Ubuntu” can mean “I am what I am thanks to what we all are’ but also ‘a human person is all human persons.”
The idea behind this album is that despite our differences, we all live with our own demons, our own thoughts, love, death and fear of the unknown.
This album retraces the journey that leads us to this feeling of belonging to something greater than ourselves and this notion of interdependence that binds us all together, making us Humanity.
What the funding will be used for This fundraising campaign will help us cover the following expenses:
The pressing of the CD Digipack and its 16-page booklet
The production of a video clip to accompany the release of the album
Press and social network promotion of the album
Ulule commission
Hailing from Grenoble, the capital of the French Alps, and drawing their inspiration from pop, rock and atmospheric metal, Fields of Næcluda invite you on a journey into the unknown, where harmonic, ethereal landscapes give way to saturated guitars and emotionally charged vocals.
In a world where everything seems to be speeding up, Fields of Næcluda offers a welcome moment of reflection and contemplation.
