A greedy con-man guru is exposed for his charlatanism and forced to face his misdeeds in a special kind of rehab. With their second single from 2024, Gentle Beast offer a mix of Psychedelic tones and Heavy Sludge riffs that go straight to the bone.

Whether apps, retreats or β€˜spiritual’ leaders, cultural practices such as meditation and yoga have become highly commercialised. “Riding Waves of Karma” takes aim at this exploitation and serves as a reminder to practice what one preaches.

The song was recorded by Marc Obrist at Hutch-Sounds. Mixed by Magnus Lindberg at Redmount Studio. Mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street Studio. Photos by Yannick Sehn. Logo by Marco Giana.
