Girasol is an Heavy Psych band from the city of Neuquén, Patagonia (Argentina). The group has been characterized by its intense, enveloping, rotten and noisy sound, with Heavy and distorted riffs that combine elements of Blues, Psychedelic Rock and Stoner Rock, with a lot of influence from the valve Rock of the 70s, in their songs you can see a lot of influence from Black Sabbath, Pappo’s Blues, Blue Cheer, Pescado Rabioso among the others.

The band has consolidated itself with a rabid, dark and Experimental sound from the fusion of their three members, resulting in an old-school power trio.

In July 2024, Girasol released a self-titled EP with 4 original songs and intends to continue sharing their music until the end.

Says the band: “This album was recorded live, without a metronome, and with a lot of grit, just like the music we like. We recommend listening to it at MAXIMUM VOLUME.

We would like to thank Sebastian Porro for renting the studio for us, as well as Javier Perez and Martina Carrasco for providing us with their sound equipment, without them this album would not have happened. We would also like to thank the people who support this project.
