“IO Earth Acoustic: Vol. 1” will feature one half re-worked songs from the IO Earth back catalogue, revisiting fan favourites such as “Take Me and Home” from the debut album and one half new material, never before released. Ahead of the album the band have released the official video for the track “Streets,” watch it below:
Commenting on the album: “It has always been in the plan for IO Earth to release an acoustic album, but somehow the timing was never right. However, with the last 12 months being quieter than expected, finally, the opportunity presented itself – and now, they are excited to present “IO Earth Acoustic: Vol. 1”.”
The new material includes two beautiful piano solo pieces, two acoustic guitar-based pieces, as well as a song called “Streets” which is inspired by the events of 2020 and will be released with a music video as soon as the acoustic album goes on pre-sale.
