Guitar icon and musical guru John McLaughlin will celebrate his 80th birthday on 4 January 2022 and head out on a string of UK dates in the Spring following a run of European shows in March.
His latest release “Liberation Time,” found him in ferocious form as he revisited his Jazz roots and that bodes well for these live appearances with his powerful 4th Dimension band of Gary Husband (keyboards, drums), Étienne M’Bappé (bass guitar) and Ranjit Barot (drums) who integrate McLaughlin’s deep Jazz Rock roots with Indian rhythms, Funk and Blues.
