The formation made up of Alba, Carmen and Marga is today one of the national underground bands with the greatest international projection, especially after their signing by Rebel Waves Records (a subsidiary of Ripple Music), with whom they released their latest album in 2021 studio album, “The Omen” (latest vinyl units available here: https://spindarecords.com/product/kabbalah-the-omen).
Kabbalah on “Dead Eyes“: “The song guides the listener through a dimly lit world of a soul leaving us. When the moment of death approaches and one is at the gates of the underworld, the dead eyes can only assume that tremendous darkness that is approaching and thus feel what is coming later. Even without knowing very well the fate of that soul, the sinister bridge before the last chorus clearly indicates that it is heading towards a very dark afterlife in which there is no possibility of its resting in peace.“
Composed expressly for the compilation box “Grados. Minutes. Seconds.” (where he shares 7″ vinyl with the Andalusians Híbrido -a band made up of members of Viaje a 800 and Atavismo), “Dead Eyes” was recorded and mixed by Guillermo Fernández Mutiloa at MOTU Estudios (Spain), mastered by Vacuum Mastering (Spain).
